About Us
The property boasts two bedrooms situated on the first floor, the master bedroom offers a plush double bed and Smart TV. On the same floor you also have a twin bedroom and delightful family bathroom which is equipped with a shower over the bath.
On the ground floor there is the very comfortable living area with a large fireplace, woodburner and Smart TV giving a great place to relax after a day exploring.
The enclosed garden/patio is separate from the cottage and is an ideal place to sit out, take in the views, fire up the barbecue and have a drink alfresco style in the summer sun.

Woodpecker Cottage has been a delight. Clean, stylish, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Thank you for the welcome hamper and log burner supplies – this made the evenings lovely and cosy. It’s been great base to start exploring Yorkshire, and despite some exciting weather, we have enjoyed some great days out. Hepworth Wakefield gallery was brilliant and far exceeded expectations, and today’s visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park was super! We will certainly recommend the cottage to friends and family.

Thank you so much for a wonderful visit! We really appreciated the luxury of Woodpecker Cotttage – the shower, the AGA + the wood burning stove are amazing. Its such a lovely location surrounded by gardens. We had a super visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth, Wakefield. The children have loved all the space to play in. We would love to came again.
